Taste the Best of Osaka! Expo-Exclusive Dishes Available at Osaka Ohsho

Osaka Ohsho offers Chinese cuisine at casual prices and is known for its "Ganso Yaki Gyoza" (Original Grilled Dumplings). They have set up a booth at the largest dining area in the venue, the "Sustainable Food Court Osaka Noren Meguri~Food and Festival EXPO~."


The popular Tamagoyaki Fried Rice is topped with Osaka-produced Kuroge Wagyu grilled meat in the "Kuroge Wagyu Yakiniku Fried Rice" (2,500 yen). The "Matsusaka Beef Wagyu Sukiyaki Gyoza" (2,300 yen) features gyoza filled with sliced Matsusaka beef, topped with grilled Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu. These are just a few of the exclusive menu items made with premium ingredients. Additionally, the classic favorites "Ganso Yaki Gyoza" (490 yen) and "Gomoku Fried Rice" (800 yen) will also be available.

Fight Food Waste! Try Butter Chicken Curry Made with Off-Grade Tomatoes

Oisix La Daichi Co., Ltd. sells organic and additive-free foods and meal kits. They will offer "Butter Chicken Curry made with Tokushima Prefecture fruit tomatoes" at "Awa no Kuni Tokushima Tsumugu CAFE," operated by Tokushima Prefecture.
This dish is made with sweet, high-quality Tokushima fruit tomatoes that haven't been sold because they don’t meet size or shape standards. By using them, the dish helps reduce food waste. The tomatoes are pureed to bring out their rich flavor, with a subtle sweetness and fragrance. The addition of cream, butter, yogurt, and roasted cashews adds depth and richness, making the dish suitable for all ages without being too heavy.

Explore MyakuMyaku with Japanese Craftsmanship! 12 Must-Have Tools from Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten

Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, established in 1716, is known for manufacturing and selling lifestyle goods and crafts. At the expo they are offering collaboration products with MyakuMyaku, the official mascot of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, at their official store located at the West Gate, KINTESTU.
For the 2025 Expo, they have created a "MyakuMyaku Daruma" (5,500 yen) in collaboration with "Sandaime Daruma-ya Mashimo" from Takasaki City, a famous daruma-producing area in Gunma. The daruma features different options, including "good fortune," "victory," "wealth," "health," and "good relationships," as well as a version where you can add your own eyes.
Other unique items include the charming "MyakuMyaku Hariko" (6,600 yen), which features a head that sways back and forth, and the "MyakuMyaku Arita Ware Dish" (2,750 yen), showcasing MyakuMyaku in the traditional Arita porcelain style, originating from the birthplace of Japanese ceramics.


The "MyakuMyaku Handkerchief" (2,310 yen) features a natural hemp texture with an embroidered accent. Practical items such as the "MyakuMyaku Fan" (5,500 yen) and "MyakuMyaku Furoshiki" (4,510 yen) are also available.
Additionally, at the "2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Official Store – West Gate KINTESTU" inside the venue, visitors are warmly welcomed by the towering "Giant MyakuMyaku Daruma (not for sale)" standing around 52 centimeters tall!

Get Your Hands on Exclusive 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Sweets!

Amidaike Daikoku, a renowned confectionery brand established in 1805, is offering Expo-exclusive sweets at the official store inside the venue.


Cute and tasty souvenir treats featuring Expo 2025 mascot MyakuMyaku are now on sale from Amidaike Daikoku, a long-running sweets maker founded in 1805. They make great gifts, too!
Highlights include the EXPO2025 Sablé (10 pieces, 1,550 yen), a set of cookies in a cheerful yellow tin decorated with a smiling MyakuMyaku, and the EXPO2025 Cookies (20 pieces, 1,700 yen), bite-sized cookies with space on each individual wrapper to write a personal message. There’s also the EXPO2025 Cookies (13 pieces, 1,080 yen) in a yellow tin featuring MyakuMyaku going for a stroll.
In addition to the official store inside the Expo 2025 venue, these sweets will also be available at major souvenir shops across the Kansai region and at the Amidaike Daikoku flagship store.
