Description
The extensive ruins of the castle built by Date Masamune, who owned 620,000 koku, stir up images of past times via the statue of Date Masamune and his horse that overlooks the view from the castle, the restored side tower, and the main building's northern stone wall that demonstrates sophisticated rock-stacking techniques. Head here for the nightscape and sunrise over Sendai.
